Support and Services

In addition to a core academic curriculum, we offer a variety of educational supports to enhance the overall learning experience. These services may vary from program to program, but typically include a combination of the following:

  • Physical Education/Adaptive PE
  • Music Therapy
  • Art Therapy
  • Pet/Animal Therapy
  • Character Education
  • Social Skills Instruction
  • Assistive Technology
  • Community field trips and guest speakers
  • Curriculum electives or specials
  • Case management and community resource assistance
  • Pre-vocational and post-secondary transition planning

Related Services are provided as indicated by each student’s IEP. Services may include any of the following:

  • Individual or Group Counseling
  • Speech/Language Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physical Therapy

No matter the level of special needs, Educational Resources program personnel work as a team to ensure that parents/guardians are aware of and able to access appropriate community-based medical and mental health services and that such services are effectively coordinated across each student’s natural settings through the Child & Family Team (as applicable).
