Nanette L. Perrin
Nanette L. Perrin earned her Bachelors of Arts and her Masters of Arts in Human Development from the University of Kansas and earned her Ph.D. in Special Education focusing on Early Childhood, also from the University of Kansas. Nan has worked for more than 20 years, both locally and nationally supporting the application of successful models of service for individuals with autism as well the development of teaching curriculums, evaluation programs, quality assurance and positive behavior support systems.
Prior to working at LifeShare, she gained valuable experience with a Managed Care Organization, providing autism specific consultation as well as oversight of a team of professionals implementing care coordination. Prior to that, she worked at a not for profit provider agency in Kansas, where she built and served as the administrator for their children's services program. Additionally, she provided consultation, instruction and mentoring to the statewide PBS training program.
Nan is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the doctoral level (BCBA-D). She is appointed to the Kansas Governors Commission on Autism as the BCBA member. Nan serves on the Kansas Autism Waiver Advisory Committee and is a board member and secretary of the Autism Society of the Heartland. She also is the chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee for the Kansas Association for Positive Behavior Supports.
Her primary areas of focus are autism, quality of life and behavior support for individuals and families, as well as policy and systems change.
