State Director, Maine Services
Jeri-Lynn graduated from Kennebec Valley Community College with a degree in Applied Science in Mental Health, also earning an MHRTC-Community Certification.
She spent several years working as a Team Leader with at-risk youth developing activities and assisting staff with crisis intervention techniques. She also spent time working as a Crisis Triage Worker conducting Mental Health/Crisis Assessments, both in the community and in local hospitals.
Jeri-Lynn was drawn to LifeShare because its values and beliefs matched her own. She realized that this opportunity was her “dream job,” as she was given the opportunity to not only provide crisis stabilization but to change lives by offering support to prevent a crisis from occurring or escalating.
Jeri-Lynn was awarded LifeShare’s 2012 Presidential Award, the 2012 Employee of the Quarter Award, and the 2013 Leadership Award. Approaching her fifth year of service to LifeShare in Maine, she is extremely proud of the growth Maine has made, beginning with just eight programs and now offering more than 30.
LifeShare was recently awarded a license by Maine to provide Adult Case Management, allowing the team to touch even more lives and encourage each person they support to be their personal best. "I have extreme pride and passion for Maine and look forward to LifeShare’s future and evolution," she said.
"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor and some style." — Maya Angelou
